The WBF Foundation, Inc. is organized and classified as an IRS 501(c)(3) of the Not-For-Profit Corporation Law.

We are a publicly supported organization as described in Sections 509(a)(1) and 170 (b) (1) (A) (vi) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.

The purpose for which this corporation was organized is to promote, educate, encourage and work to strengthen the German-American culture and heritage in the United States.  Additionally, to further enhance the understanding of the German-American language and provide educational programs for the local community.

Annual Community Service Scholarship Awards - to high school seniors who will be enrolling at an accredited college or university as an incoming freshman.

These scholarships to be applied toward their higher education in recognition of their community volunteer service endeavors.  Deserving recipients are chosen by the WBF Foundation, Inc. Executive Committee.  Applications are accepted from the general public, as well as from WBF members, and must provide proof of their volunteer service achievements in order to be considered.

Charitable Donations - a sample of recent donations made by the Foundation: American Heart Association, American Lung Association, American Cancer Society, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and many more.

Donations are always gratefully accepted and tax deductible.
